We provide strategy and support to mid-sized businesses in these industries:
Our clients are successful and growing mid-sized businesses, but lack internal personnel or know-how in one of our areas of expertise.
Our head office is in beautiful Kelowna British Columbia, but our team of associates and subject matter experts are around North America.
We work with clients primarily in Western and Northern Canada, and we’re available to work worldwide.
Murray, Carla and their associates have worked in logistics and project management overseas, including:
Human connection and personal relationships are important at IGY6 - whether that’s with our team or our clients.
All of our clients have an internal gap in systems, knowledge or personnel. Our team steps in to fill that gap and be part of your business success. We prefer to work with mid-sized businesses who aren’t bogged down by layers of corporate red tape.
Our preferred clients are nimble, open to thinking outside the box and have a desire to win.
IGY6 supports our clients on specific deadline-driven projects or through on-going advisory retainers.
Step 1: Book a free consulting call to chat about your challenges and business goals.
Step 2: Connect. On that call, we’ll offer a few high-level strategies and follow up with a formal business plan or proposal for how IGY6 can support you.
Step 3: Execute the Plan. Once an agreement is reached, Team IGY6 executes the work.
Step 4: Follow Up. Unlike a lot of other consultants, IGY6 is invested in your business. We want to see your success. We provide support and follow-up throughout and beyond the scope of the project.
IGY6 (sounds like: “Iggy Six”) is a military reference that means:
I’ve Got Your Back
The 6 refers to clock position - where 12 o’clock is in front of you and 6 is behind you or at your back.
Co-founder, Murray, spent more than 20 years working in military and remote site logistics and operations.
We want all of our clients to feel like you’ve got someone looking out for your best interests and successes.
Whether it’s in negotiations, developing performance metrics or proposal management, we’ve got your back.
Price is always an objection. We get it. It’s not always easy to convince your CEO that you have to spend money to make money.
Our pricing is competitive, and our ROI and track record are outstanding.
Our 4-decades of combined experience in ground handling, logistics, aviation and remote sites PLUS our proven proposal processes and document templates, help our clients:
When you win a $120M bid, or deliver your project on time and budget, your CEO will understand the value of a good consultant.
Our biggest strength is that we have sat on both sides of the table: as the corporate client and the service provider.
Understanding the values and expectations - or as Murray calls it the Love Languages - of both parties creates stronger proposals and better negotiations.
Murray and Carla both have proven experience in aviation, oilfield, mining and military services, with a focus on remote site logistics and management. They’re skilled at managing people and projects - in some of the riskiest and most remote locations around the globe.
Some consultants are great at writing bids and proposals, others handle the set-up of remote camps, and some specialize in ground handling and aviation. This means you end up working with several different consultants.
IGY6’s breadth of experience and impressive network of experts provides you an all-in-one solution.
With IGY6, you get a more fulsome suite of strategies and tools and a better return on your investment.
Hah! We thought you’d never ask.
Not many couples can say their first date was a trip to Dubai…
In 2004, we both worked for civilian contracting companies supporting the Department of National Defense in Kabul.
Murray was the Logistics Manager and Carla was the Accommodation Manager.
Murray orchestrated an anonymous flower delivery to Carla’s desk on her birthday.
This was quite a feat considering we lived in tents in the middle of the Afghan desert in an International Peacekeeping Camp. The flowers even needed to be bomb-searched at the gates of the camp.
But if anyone could figure out how to get a bouquet of flowers delivered to a tent in the middle of the desert, it’s Murray!
Since fraternization wasn’t allowed in the camp, we had our first date on leave in Dubai. And the rest, as they say, is history...
